Fastwarm® 100w Heating Mat Kits are industry leading heating systems that can be used as a floor warming system (when used in conjunction with Fastwarm® XPS or Tile backer boards, the warm up time and running costs can be reduced as much as 25%) providing an effective solution to heat under almost any floor covering and in any room type.
Fastwarm® heating mats comprise of the thinnest (2mm) fluoropolymer (Teflon) coated, dual-core resistive heating cable on the market. The cables are evenly spaced at 100mm intervals to provide an even heat distribution across the floor to suit the required heat output. The mat system allows for use in small confined areas (bathrooms and en suites) plus large areas, making fitting a Fastwarm® Underfloor Heating Mat suitable for any DIY enthusiast. Please note that all electrical connections should be undertaken by a qualified electrician.
- Fastwarm® high quality ETFE advanced insulation heating cables are only made with premium quality Fluoropolymer material and DO NOT contain any PVC outer sheathing whatsoever.
- Fastwarm® cables are only 2mm in thickness meaning they are one of the thinnest on the market today.

Please note - electric underfloor heating elements cannot be shortened or cut, so when calculating the correct size for an area please select a cable system that only covers up to 90% of the total floor space.
- Ensure the subfloor is structurally sound and free of all dust and debris. Prime the subfloor using the primer supplied in the kit (or sold separately) If using /Tile Backer or XPS insulation boards, please refer to their specific installation guide.
- Before laying the mat please test the resistance values against the chart in the install guide. Please do not roll the mat until you have carried out this test. Also check the size of the area to be heated to ensure the mat will fit. Unrolled mats cannot be returned.
- Start unrolling the mat from the fused spur/thermostat location across the room until reaching the perimeter of the room. Then cut the mat (NOT the cable) and turn 180 degrees to allow the mat to be rolled back towards the original start position. Continue this method until the heated area is covered.
- Once the mat has been laid, carry out the resistance test again to confirm the values are the same. This ensures the cable hasn’t been damaged during installation.
- Once these tests have been confirmed, we recommend you cover the mat with a thin layer of suitable latex based levelling compound (8-10mm if you are using vinyl as a final floor covering). This will help protect the cables. You may install your floor covering directly over the cables, however extra care must be taken not to dislodge the cables or to damage the cable in anyway.

Delivery cut off times
Our final delivery time for Mondays to Thursday is 4:30pm. To give us a bit more time to ensure weekend deliveries are handled and our couriers have time to collect, the final delivery time on Fridays is 4:00pm.

Delivery outside the UK
Delivery outside the mainland UK may be arranged by prior agreement. You will be notified of the amount of the charge for this service and will at that point have to make a decision whether you wish to proceed wth your order.
Important: Our deliveries rely on third party couriers, so, whilst we make every effort to deliver your order on the specified date and time, unfortunately there may be occasions when this will not be possible due to external influences. Due to this we strongly recommend you ensure you have received your order before any tradespeople/builders are scheduled to commence work.
