When Fitting Insulation Boards

When installing Fastwarm® insulation boards we recommend a minimum of a 3mm bed of flexible tile adhesive. This depth would be dependant on the subfloor. Should there be concerns of unevenness, a deeper bed will be suggested.

When Tiling Directly to a Fastwarm System (Sticky mat and loose cable)

When tiling directly over the Fastwarm® underfloor heating systems we recommend a 7mm bed to ensure cables are fully covered and tiles are fully adhered to the surface.

1.5kg x m2 x bed depth = total Kg divided by 20kg bags = QTY
1.5kg x 10m2 x 3mm = 45kg / 20 = 3 bags
