Insulation Board (Electric)

Fastwarm® Insulation Boards should be used with all Fastwarm® Electrical Underfloor Heating systems. They reduce the backloss of heat into the substrate floor and will reduce running cost, running time and help with the overall performance of your system. They come in 3 types

Fastwarm® Tile Backer Board

Fastwarm® Tile Backer Boards can be used with Fastwarm® Electric Underfloor Heating Sticky Mats or Fastwarm® Loose Cable systems. They will also help strengthen timber subfloors and reduce heat loss. Once in place this board can be tiled to directly or covered with levelling compound. Available in 6mm, 10mm, 12.5mm, 20mm, 30mm and 50mm.

Fastwarm® XP Board

Fastwarm® XP Boards can only be used with the Fastwarm® Electric Underfloor Heating Sticky Mats or Fastwarm® Loose Cable systems when laid on concrete subfloors, but can be used with the Fastwarm® Underwood Foil Mats on both timber subfloors and concrete/screed. Available in 6mm, 10mm, 20mm, 30mm and 50mm

Fastwarm® EPS Classic Underlay

The Fastwarm® EPS board are only suitable for use with floating floor finishes. Ideally used under laminate or engineered wood. The board is only available in 6mm and suitable over both timber and concrete.
