FastWarm® Under Carpet / Vinyl heating mat kits are industry leading heating systems that can be used to warm your floors. When used in conjunction with FastWarm® 6mm EPS and HeatPak Dual Overlay,
FastWarm® Under Carpet / Vinyl heating mats comprise of the thinnest 2mm fluoropolymer (Teflon) coated, dual-core resistive heating cable on the market. The cables are encased between two layers of heat reflective aluminium foil providing even heat distribution. The cables are fixed to the mat at even spacings, making fitting the FastWarm® Under Carpet / Vinyl foil heating mat suitable for any DIY enthusiast.
All electrical connections must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
- Fastwarm® high quality ETFE advanced insulation heating cables are only made with premium quality Fluoropolymer material and DO NOT contain any PVC outer sheathing whatsoever.
- Fastwarm® cables are only 2mm in thickness meaning they are one of the thinnest on the market today.
- Fastwarm® cable heating systems are constructed using a multi strand wire composite making them extremely durable and very strong
- All our mats are 500mm wide
FastWarm® under Carpet / Vinyl heating mats come with a peace of mind lifetime guarantee (50 years) as we only use the highest quality components sourced across the globe. FastWarm® heating systems do not utilise PVC as an outer coating which are an inferior casing, meaning you can rest assured that once installed, your fastwarm® underfloor heating system will last a lifetime.
Please note - electric underfloor heating elements cannot be shortened or cut, so when calculating the correct size for an area please select a cable system that only covers up to 90% of the total floor space.
- Ensure the subfloor is structurally sound and free of all dust and debris. The Fastwarm Carpet / Vinyl mat system must be used with either XPS or Classic Underlay insulation boards, please refer to their specific installation guide.
- Before laying the mat, please test the resistance values against the chart in the install guide. Please do not unroll the mat until you have carried out this test. Also check the size of the area to be heated to ensure the mat will fit. Unrolled mats cannot be returned.
- Start unrolling the mat from the fused spur/thermostat location across the room until you reach the perimeter. Then cut the mat (NOT the cable) and turn 180 degrees to allow the mat to be rolled back towards the original start position. Continue this method until the heated area is covered.
- Once the mat has been laid, carry out the resistance test again to confirm the values are the same. This ensures the cable hasn’t been damaged during installation.
- Once these tests have been confirmed, you can install Heat Pak Dual Overlay.

Delivery cut off times
Our daily cut-off time for dispatch is 4:30pm Monday–Thursday and 4:00pm on Fridays. Orders placed before the cut-off time will be dispatched for next working day delivery (if this option is selected). Orders placed after 4:00pm on Friday will be dispatched on Monday for Tuesday delivery.

Other Delivery Options
PRE-10:30AM and Saturday Delivery services are available, but orders must be placed before the relevant cut-off times.
NOTE: All orders placed on a Friday will be delivered on the following Monday (unless its a bank holiday), unless a Saturday Delivery service is selected and paid for before the 4:00pm Friday cut-off.
Delivery outside the UK
Delivery outside mainland UK may be arranged by prior agreement. You will be advised of the delivery charge before dispatch, at which point you can decide whether you wish to proceed with your order.
Important: Our deliveries rely on third party couriers, so, whilst we make every effort to deliver your order on the specified date and time, unfortunately there may be occasions when this will not be possible due to external influences. Due to this we strongly recommend you ensure you have received your order before any tradespeople/builders are scheduled to commence work.
