The Fastwarm® Egg Crate (1450mm x 850mm) is a straightforward and effective system designed for use with screed or concrete layers to transfer heat efficiently from the pipes to the floor surface above. Unlike smaller versions, this larger panel does not have a self-adhesive backing, allowing for flexible placement and positioning during installation.

The increasing pipe spacings in multiples of 50mm provide adaptability to different heat sources and layouts, while built-in pipe retaining fixings make installing 14mm to 17mm Fastwarm® pipework easy and secure.

This system works best beneath hard floor finishes such as stone or tile, which allow heat to pass through with minimal resistance for maximum efficiency. For carpeted floors, the system design should take into account the extra insulation by increasing flow temperatures to maintain desired room warmth.
